Jealous -
Before I Met Her -
Untitled
Jealous
I envy the soft summer's breeze
that strokes your hair,
the warm sunlight
that caresses your cheek.
I am jealous of the spring shower
that kisses your lips,
of the beauty of a flower
that catches your eye.
I feel no fondness
for the song
that touches your heart,
or the poem
that warms your soul.
All of these things
only warrant my contempt,
because they do for you
all of the things
I cannot,
and they love you
only near half as much
as I.

Before I Met Her
Where is she hiding
the one I might love
Where does she roam
the one who might love me
Where shall we meet
Under the skies so blue
When shall we meet
and my life begin anew

Untitled
He stares at me long and hard.
My breathing becomes faster.
I know what is to come.
I want to run in fear yet i ache for the agony.
he sees right through me, this i know.
He looks inside me.
And i have no power to stop him.
He knows this.
I bow my head.
For him i kneel.
On the threshhold of ecstacy.
My head is pounding.
My heart is racing.
My body is on fire.
Only when i surrender.
Can i truly be free.
Only when i die.
Can i truly live.
The answers are all there.
In his eyes.
The power of truth.
Beckons me to its door.
I open the door.
Then and only then.
Do i find peace.
