For a Tender 'Tender

Okay, this poem (originally titled "Our Pact of Friendship") isn't specifically about Callahan's 'tenders although it could be expanded to include them all. There is one in particular, though, that inspired this work from me. I'll not let him/her know it is here - I'll just wait and let them be surprised.
Your pain and tears I'll gladly take
Your fears I'll drown in a reassurance Lake
I'll not judge my dear
possession I do not aim, don't fear.

Give to me your pain
Share with me everything
Borrow from me anything
Take from me only what your needing

Know that you already have my love
Into nothing will you, I shove
I can't promise agreement to be sure
Ah but honesty, that's what in you I adore

I guard your sleep when your tired
I warm you when in cold your mired
Too, with you in your dreams I'll revel
when you've realized their highest level

I do not these promises lightly take
Nor do I expect you to them lightly make
And now I must ask this question great
So in this pact who'll with me partake?
