How I Found Callahans

It was a dark and stormy night,
And I was looking for a light,
A beacon 'midst the wilderness
To offer me some tenderness.

To ease my mind of endless foundering,
And stop my endless stressful floundering,
I sat and hooked up to the Net;
I figured it was my best bet.

While I waited for the dialing,
And, in anticipation, smiling,
I put my feet down on the ground,
And stepped on something long and round.

I saw it was a whammy bar,
Accoutrement to a guitar;
With great surprise upon my face,
As my guitar was in its case,
I wondered from where it had come;
My modem then began to hum.

I then achieved epiphany,
And ran into my room to see
The author's note from Callahan's;
I quickly typed in my commands.

The door was open; I could hear
The sounds of laughter and of cheer,
Glass breaking in the fireplace,
With piano music keeping pace.

I entered then and looked around,
Following that symphonic sound;
And I was greeted by a 'tender...

..all because of Jake's tone bender!!!
