Callahan's Riddle Night Page | ||||
In 'Callahan's Secret', there is a tale called "Pyotr's
Story." The story has many twists and turns and introduces the
concept of Riddle Night at Callahan's. Four categories of riddles are
shown and discussed. Here is an excerpt:
"...I saw that it was Riddle Night: The big blackboard stood near the door, tonight's game scrawled on it in the handwriting of Doc Webster. On Riddle Night the previous week's winner is Riddle Master; each solved riddle is good for a drink on the Riddle Master's tab. The board was headed "PUBLIC PERSONALITIES". Beneath that were inscribed the following runes:
