Opening Toast

My friends,
this is a time when many things may change...
but what we have here with each other...
how we all laugh and cry together,
may that go on forever.

Manager's Corner

Hi all..

April wasn't exactly a slow month in Callahans but we didn't actually get around to posting this edition Until November..:)

Please forgive its brevity. We'll continue to add material to it as we.. remember..:)

Lou

Conference News

Punday Nights were scheduled as usual and the winners for April 10th were Suze & Janice on "Anatomy" and Cane for "Botanica."

Message Board News

April was a blooming month in Callahans. Cstar started our month of botanica, birds and butterflies with the thought that something was missing at Cal’s. April in the Garden at Callahans. What followed was typical Callahanian magic, tom-foolery and giggles galore. We did get a garden at Cal’s though, perhaps with some unexpected occupants, but a garden nonetheless.

Peg piped in with the poll What’s your favorite flower?, which probably helped us decide just what to plant in the garden. And... ahem... the gentlemen need to take note, should they ever feel the need to send flowers to any of the ladies in the group.

April also seemed to be a somewhat introspective month with some questions about who and what we are, in Is this normal?, Who I am, Think about it and More ‘think about’ music. Thanks to the patrons that gave us a chance to explore ourselves for a while.

Kotik1 gave some of us an interesting alternative to eating those little marshmallow peeps in Peep Jousting. We all know what to do with chocolate bunnies...you bite the ears off, right?

Lou won, or didn’t win the lottery, and did or didn’t send Carol and Cstar new vehicles. Carol promptly decided to see just *how* many people could fit into a Viper in My New Car!!!!!

Lou did or didn’t get lost in another thread and turn up in the middle of the SAR encampment, Samantha is or isn’t an earthling, Cstar is or isn’t upstairs or downstairs and Bee is or isn’t going to declare herself a Jedi. Pretty much, business as usual at Cal’s.

Joke of The Month

Visiting the modern art museum, a lady turned to an attendant standing nearby.

"This," she said, "I suppose, is one of those hideous representations you call modern art?"

"No, Madam," replied the attendant. "That one's called a mirror."

Closing Quote
