Newsletter of the Callahan's Saloon Custom Forum on Delphi

In this issue:

Welcome - New Sci-Fi Books - Murder Mystery
Callahan's News - Thanks

Welcome!!!

To those of you who have joined us recently, welcome. I think you will find us a fun group of people. I hope you find the conversations fun and interesting. Feel free to add your comments to any thread of conversation in the forum that strikes your interest, or start a new topic of your own.

Our Happy Hour is on Wednesday evening starting at 10:00 PM EST, however there are plans in the works to expand those times. You may come online any night and find people in the bar, though. If you arrive and no one is there at all, feel free to start your own conference, and invite anyone you wish.

Now, enough of my gibberish, let's move on to the news stories.

Murder Mystery:

Our Interactive Murder Mystery has been delayed slightly, however, watch in the next week for an announcement concerning the new date.

Callahan's News:

We have a new assistant bartender. His name is Bryan Talbott (BTALBOTT). He is from Puyallup, WA. and I believe he will be a great asset to Callahan's Saloon.

Say hi to him when you get the chance.

We have a new item on the forum called Usenet. It is a direct access to the INTERNET forums that interest us. Right now there are only three Newsgroups available, but I plan to add more soon. If anyone has a favorite they'd like to see, please let me know.

Coming Soon; Delphi is working on providing us with a database. I hope it will be operational within a week. Please feel free to upload a photo of yourself so we can all know what the person we are talking to looks like. Watch for future announcements concerning items that will be available for downloading.

Thanks:

Thanks to everyone who has helped Callahan's to grow. Though I've not advertised this forum, we continue to have more and more visitors. You are the ones who have helped to make this the fun place that people want to hang out in. Please continue to tell your friends about us, and visit our forum and say hi to all of us. I like to hear from my friends.

Well, another late issue of the Bar Rag has arrived. I'm afraid it's a little bit skimpy this time, but I'm trying to get home from my business trip. Next issue, watch for some exciting new announcements. I hope you continue to enjoy this publication. If you do, please share it with a friend, if you don't, please let me know. I'd love to hear your opinions.

Nick (NGREENE)
